Bridge Lifting Guide

Our purpose is to recommend and to guide erector of an Echo Bridge.

This drawing is suggested rigging and lifting schematic provided by Echo Bridge, Inc.

Final rigging and lifting shall be the full responsibility of the crane operator and owner. Precautions must be taken to avoid bodily injury and damage to the bridge during rigging and lifting.

Lift only from the bottom chord. Use a minimum of four lifting points. It is recommended to lift from points that are a distance approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the span of the bridge. With some small bridges you may lift using only two lifting points located at the bridges centerpoint. You must keep no less than a 60 degree angle between the tiedowns and the crane hook.
